KarSU Holds Strategic Meetings During THE Global Sustainable Development Congress

As part of the ongoing Times Higher Education Global Sustainable Development Congress taking place in Istanbul, Karshi State University (KSU) held a series of strategically important meetings aimed at strengthening its international presence and academic collaborations. Throughout the day, university representatives met with key figures from Times Higher Education, including Phil Baty, Chief Global Affairs Officer; Tom Arnott, Regional Director for International Subscriptions; and Lachin Italmazova, Regional Director for Central Asia. The discussions focused on enhancing the university’s global reputation, expanding its scientific research capabilities, improving the university’s data and ranking performance on the THE platform, and exploring new avenues for regional cooperation and sustainable development initiatives. After the meetings, KarSU delegates presented symbolic gifts reflecting the university’s identity and national cultural heritage to their partners. The day also marked a significant step forward in international collaboration, as Karshi State University signed academic cooperation memoranda with Ankara University and Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in Turkey.
