Nashirova Shakhnoza Burievna started her career in 2004 as a teacher in the 10th specialized state school of Karshi. From 2010 to 2014, a teacher at the Department of English Language and Literature of Karshi State University, from 2014 to 2015, a teacher at the Department of Linguistics in Karshi State University, from 2015 to 2020, a teacher at the Department of English Language and Literature of Karshi State University, from 2021 to 2023 she has worked as a Senior teacher of the Department of English Language Teaching Methodology and Practice in Karshi State University, and from October 1, 2023 until now, she has been working as the Dean of the Faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology of Karshi State University.
In 2011, she was awarded with the badges of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "20 years to the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and in 2022 "30 years to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
Faculty History
In 1965, the Karshi State Pedagogical Institute accepted students for specialties of English and German and organized a department of foreign languages to train highly educated specialists in foreign languages. In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 526 dated December 4, 1968, this department was transformed into the Faculty of Foreign Languages. In 1992, in connection with the assignment of the status of a university to the Karshi State Pedagogical Institute, the faculty began to function under the name of the Faculty of Foreign Languages. In the new structure of Karshi State University the Faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology was approved by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan (2011), and according to the decision of the Scientific Council of the university on July 8, in connection with the re-approval of the new structure of the university's faculties and departments it was changed to the Faculty of Foreign Languages on June 30, 2014. According to Order No. 646-X dated November 3, 2021, the Faculty of Foreign Languages was divided into two, and the faculties of Romano-Germanic Philology and English Philology were created.
